Shopping and restaurant information



There are many shops like convenience stores in Maafishi. Those shops usually open to late, however they close when the time comes to pray.



I pay only 1２$ plus for this many items. You will pay double for the same amount at resorts.

Access from the airport to Maafushi

The way to go to Maafushi from the airport   ---  Speed Boat   ;   25 $ per person for one way. 1- The first place you will head for is Malé. Turn right after you go out from the lobby and keep going for a while. So then you will find the ticket office for ferry. Pay 2 $ and get ride on the ferry to Malé 2- Once you arrive at Malé, turn right and keep going for about 100, and try to find a boat station to go to Maafushi. It would be easier to find the red building “Bank of Maldives” first, because the station is right in front of the building. ★If you arrive at airport after 9pm Speed boat service (25$ for one way) closes at 10pm. If you couldn’t make it, you will have to ask the hotel to charter a private speed boat to travel to Maafushi Island. If you share the ride with other guest, the cost will be divided by the number, which makes the cost cheaper.
